Recently, I've entered the world of tech career Tik Toks. One role that caught my eye while scrolling on the app was product management & marketing. I love using creativity and analytical thinking and that's what drew me into product management the most. One tiktoker provided her audience with resources to learn skills and build side-projects (shout out to @hackergirl.mg) to help people break into tech or product management.
I decided to pursue this side project using the platform Bubble.io, and I'm calling it "flash". Bubble.io has resources to create web products like social media or productivity apps without the need to know how to code. They have a how-to article to create an Instagram clone product. By using this resource, I'll be able to create my own product similar to Instagram.
My goals for this project are simple: create branding material & build this app successfully.
First, I've been using Canva to create branding material. My initial designs for its logo are below. The vision for the aesthetic of this product is to make it exude happiness. I want people to photo dump their life's moments to create a feed where there is no pressure to have influencer-like content. It's a place for people to just share their favorite memories.
